Vietnam: backpackers short travel guide

Until my relationship with Vietnam is like Love & Hate story. This country is still amazing.

I like it cause it gave me experience I have never felt anywhere else. I've spent 2 months in Vietnam. first month bought motorbike and did 3000km Hanoi to HCM cross-country. Another months sold my bike and did HCM to Hanoi by sleeper buses mostly. Another picturesque option is travel by train. Vietnam is destination to feel dark history, touch culture, enjoy nature, taste traditional food and it's heaps what to do. Keep in mind safety though.
I have decided to rank Vietnam by stars. I give stars from my own experience in relevance with the rest of Asia I've been before. Stars mean quality rate. And as more stars as better obviously for the fellow backpacker in general.

My personal VIETNAM twinkle Stars:

FOOD ✮✮✮✮✩ -4
PARTY ✮✮✮✩✩ -3
STAY ✮✮✮✮✩ -4
TRAVEL ✮✮✮✩✩ -3
TO DO ✮✮✮✮✮ -5
BEACHES ✮✮✮✮✩ -4
PEOPLE ✮✮✩✩✩ -2
SAFETY ✮✮✩✩✩ -2
PRICES ✮✮✮✮✮ -5
VIETNAM Total - 3.6✮

Vietnam has the cheapest travel rate I have been so far. Pay/quality rate is outstanding. One month backpacking budget with 600 bucks not saving too much. That's good.

Destinations from South to North:

Ho Chi Minh ✮✮✮✮✮ -5

Mui Nei ✮✮✮✩✩ -3
Nha Trang ✮✮✮✩✩ -3
HoiAn ✮✮✮✮✩ -4
Hue ✮✮✮✮✮ -2
Dalat ✮✮✮✮✩ -4
Phong Nhe ✮✮✮✮✮ -5
Hanoi ✮✮✮✮ -5

Those with 4 and 5 stars I wouldn't recommend to skip.

Check my "dramatic" Vietnam Highlights as well if you haven't already.
Will try to add Vietnam cross-country article as well.
